Coconut Jaggery is made from the sap of the coconut palm. It is traditionally made in the shape of small pyramids and also referred to as pyramid jaggery.
Coconut jaggery is used in numerous Goan sweets such as Dodol, Pinagré and Alle-Belle. It is also used in making coconut based curries and as an alternative sweetner to sugar.
